Advertising in our newsletter is a powerful way to reach the heart of the blues community. Our newsletter is currently reaching approximately 150 households as well as a growing list of corporate members. Of our four issues annually, two are print (Summer & Winter) and two are electronic (Spring & Fall). Each issue is available exclusively to members for approximately three months. When the following issue comes out, the previous issue is archived; archived issues are available to everyone.
Complimentary copies are sent to all newsletter contributors who are not OBS members, to the Toronto and Montreal Blues Societies, the Blues Foundation, the Blues Archive and Real Blues Magazine. Extra copies are distributed to many local blues musicians and venues where blues music is presented.
We are excited by our corporate partnerships and we invite you to participate and join us, as we continue to grow and successfully promote blues in the Ottawa area. Our members are characterized as individuals who would make an extra effort to patronize corporate advertisers who show a willingness to support a grass roots organization such as ours. Your advertising dollars will also allow our publication to grow and eventually reach even more people within the community.
Please go to our Membership page for information on Corporate Membership. Our Corporate Members receive a logo and website link listing in each print newsletter and a logo with live link to a website is included on our Corporate Members page.

The OBS Board of Directors recently reviewed and revised our newsletter advertising rates.
As in the past, a 10% discount is given for four issues paid in full in advance.
Please note that advertising rates are the same for both the electronic issues (Spring and Fall)
and the print issues (Summer and Winter).
